About
Hi, I’m Lea (like tea)
Not only a proud Tasmanian native, I’ve also been a writer, copywriter, marketing strategist, and search engine optimisation (SEO) adviser in the online business world since 2016.
I’ve been a master tea brewer and drinker for even longer (white no sugar, thanks).
After wrapping up my first career as a community pharmacist in Tasmania and Victoria, I discovered a new way to live my best life: using my writing and digital skills to help Australian business owners take full control of their marketing successes and business growth.
Over the years, I’ve helped more than a hundred business owners with high-converting copy, Google-friendly content, and marketing strategies that attract more of the right attention and increase bookings and sales.
These days, you can find me at
Write The Island
Right here, where I love helping tourism business owners in Australia simplify their marketing efforts with ready-to-use email and blog templates.
I also offer specialist done-for-you copywriting support for tourism operators who want a professional to write their marketing content, such as:
▪ Website & SEO copywriting
▪ Email marketing content
▪ Blog article series
▪ Digital business profiles
Lea Farrow Marketing
This is my dedicated marketing hub, where I get to blend my two favourite things: being a word nerd and a data dork.
As a marketing strategist, I help coaches and consultants build and implement powerful marketing strategies to easily (and reliably) attract and book more of their dream clients without paid ads or complex sales funnels.
You can find out more about my personalised marketing support on my Lea Farrow Marketing website.
Digital Ready Tasmania
Where you can access up to 4 hours of free one-on-one mentoring with me.
Through the Department of State Growth’s Digital Ready Program, I enjoy supporting fellow Tasmanian business owners – primarily in the tourism industry – with all things digital marketing, content writing, and social media.
I also offer additional specialised support through collaborative offers, such as Tourism Tasmania’s Off Season amplification sessions.
My trusted partners

Keen to learn a little more?
I live in a bushy suburb near Devonport, on the stunning North West Coast of Tasmania.
My husband and I are the co-creators of one nature-loving teenage daughter and two fishing-mad sons. We live among the gum trees on a few acres that we share with two charming cats and about a hundred wallabies, potoroos, and black cockatoos.
Spare time? There’s not a lot of that right now, to be honest, between clients, business stuff, kids, and staying connected with my loved ones.
But when I do get a chance, I love heading out for family bush walks – the longer the better. I also enjoy baking cakes and biscuits, listening to music (very loudly), and playing the most awesome pranks on my kids. Though they’re old enough now to get me back.
Tasmanian at heart
I especially love getting out to enjoy the best Tasmania has to offer.
I’ve visited the biggest attractions (like the infamous “shit machine” at MONA), hiked the most well-trodden paths (including the iconic Cradle Mountain trails), and tasted the world-renowned cheeses and wines from around the island.
But there’s so much more to our little island than the famous drawcards.
I was brought up loving leatherwood honey drizzled over my Weetbix, travelling across to the mainland on the Abel Tasman, and braving a nerve-racking drive up Jacob’s Ladder for my first taste of skiing.
Tasmanian by birth, and Tasmanian at heart.
If you want some professional (and friendly local) support with your marketing or copywriting, I’m only an email away.
